This is a pack of Mario Super Sluggers "Collectable Baseball Cards", including cards of Mario, Yoshi, Peach, Bowser Jr, Wario, and Donkey Kong, as well as a piece of gum. It was released to promote for a set of virtual collectible cards associated with www.mariosupersluggerscards.com. Virtual cards of the characters could be collected across various places such as on kid-oriented website banners, and could even be traded. Collecting certain character combos would unlock cards of Star Swings and Star Pitches, and then collecting combos of those cards would unlock team cards, with the final stadium cards being unlocked by collecting combos of those cards. Multiple videos, wallpapers, and screensavers would also be awarded for certain combos, with a complete card collection awarding the user a poster download of Mario with the cards. Nintendo. 2008.
